How to play Playcade on your TV

Set up Playcade on a smart TV, Fire TV or a laptop connected to your TV. All you need is a browser and some phones.

Start a game on this screen

Free. No console, no app. Everyone joins from their phone.

Open playcade.party on your TV or laptop to start.

Your phone is the controller. Already have a code? Enter it here.

On a smart TV

Open the web browser on your TV, such as Samsung Internet on a Samsung TV or the Web Browser app on an LG TV, and go to playcade.party.

On a Fire TV

Open the Silk browser and go to playcade.party.

With a laptop

Connect your laptop to the TV with an HDMI cable or by screen casting, then open playcade.party. This is the most dependable option if your TV's browser is old or slow.

Then join from your phones

  1. The screen shows a four-letter room code and a QR code.
  2. Everyone scans the QR with their phone, picks a name and a colour, and they're in.

If it doesn't work

Very old TV browsers may not run the games smoothly. Try a laptop instead, and tell us what TV you have at hello@playcade.party.
